Inspired by Papatuanuku - Our Earth Mother, this picnic rug is a grounding place for whānau to gather, rest, and reconnect. It honours our connection to the whenua beneath us and the generations who have always gathered on the land to kōrero, kai, and be together.

Designed for whānau life, the Papatuanuku Rug is versatile yet made to be laid on grass, sand, and earth, strong enough to hold everyday mess, yet soft enough for pēpi, tamariki, and long afternoons shared together. Whether it’s a day at the awa, a beach picnic, kura sports days, or sitting beneath the trees, this rug is made to carry moments that matter.

Gentle Machine Wash

Made from recycled cotton please gently hand wash or cold gentle machine wash only. Do not Tumble Dry. Woven blankets have threads that can pull. Be careful with jewellery etc when folding your picnic blanket, so the threads don't catch or pull.
